Project Overview
Disciplines of a minstrel is a course designed to address the onboarding and continuous development needs of youth choir members. It equips newly recruited singers with the biblical, practical, and ministry foundations needed to serve effectively in the church, while providing existing choir members with ongoing learning opportunities to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and commitment as faithful and honourable minstrels in God’s vineyard.

Learning Need
- Limited onboarding and continuous development learning platform for youth choirs.

Although developed for a youth choir, the course can be adapted for onboarding and continuous development in other church choir ministries.
My Role
- I designed the learning materials and developed the interactive learning experience.
Through this project, I demonstrated key instructional design competencies, including needs analysis, learning experience design, multimedia learning principles, formative assessment, and learner engagement.

Project Reflection
This project demonstrates my ability to analyze a learning need, design learner-centred instruction, develop an interactive e-learning course using Articulate Rise 360, and create practical learning experiences for real-world audiences.
This project also demonstrates how structured onboarding and continuous learning can strengthen commitment, teamwork, leadership, and ministry among young people.
